How Do You Lead Without Seeing?
As a manager or leader operating ‘blind’ in the new normal, how do you get assurance that your teams are not just showing up, but excelling? And as an employee, how do you demonstrate to your superior that you are adding value & working when he/she can’t see you?

Brunch Bites
A BrioHR Event Series
As part of BrioHR’s commitment to the HR community, and in line with our focus on sharing expertise and knowledge, we are proud to have launched our bespoke Brunch Bites event series on 25 February 2020 at WSpace MidValley.
We are grateful to have had renowned business and HR leaders – Azran Osman-Rani of Naluri, Derek Toh of WOBB, Florence Tan of PwC, and our very own Christophe Lejeune – sharing their experience and taking questions from the crowd on topics ranging from recruitment to onboarding to employee engagement to diversity to business performance.
Our inaugural Brunch Bites focused on apps, analytics and culture – specifically how these three could attract the right talent, retain and engage employees, and drive high performance throughout a company.
Azran provided a data-driven perspective of employee wellbeing and productivity, while Derek insisted that values drive culture, which drives employer branding, which in turn attracts top talent from around the world. Meanwhile Florence shared anecdotes and experience in rolling out diversity initiatives in PwC, and Christophe closed the session with his experience leading Lazada through a huge growth phase while ensuring high performance and happy employees.
A full-house, our event space was packed to the brim with BrioHR’s clients, partners and extensive network of HR management professionals and entrepreneurs seeking an edge in talent acquisition and people management.
Thoughtful and thought-provoking, discussions ran the gamut from ageism, sexism, bias, diabetes, depression, to anonymous surveys and angry customer emails.
All in all, we’re positive Brunch Bites delivered food for thought to Malaysia’s HR community, and we look forward to seeing you at our next event!
